The Guidelines for Admission in Various   One and half  Year Diploma Courses of the Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management  for the session 2008-09 will be as under:

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION

Percentage of 10+2 marks and 25 marks of the Interview ( judgment of Communication(10 marks), Attitude/ Aptitude (10 marks) and deportment (5 Marks))

The Interview of the candidates to be conducted as per the registration of applications and numbers issued by the office. The scrutiny of all the original documents/ certificates will be done before the interviews on the specified dates below:

MERIT LIST

The merit list will be prepared after conducting the interviews of all the candidates and will be displayed on the Notice Board and the Website of the Institute on 14 July 2008.

FINAL COUNSELING

Final counseling of the candidates will be conducted by the committee on the basis of merit list prepared and the seats to be offered to the candidates in the courses as per following schedule:

The result of admission will be declared on the same day after counseling. The student must come prepared along with fee (Demand Draft for Rs.17,000/- and the balance amount will be accepted in cash) in cash and Bank Draft in favour of Principal, Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management payable at Chandigarh to deposit the same on declaration of result. The Candidate who fails to deposit the fee at the time of selection, the seat will be given to the candidate, next on the merit list The course-wise detail of first term fee is as under:
