and presentation of food forms the main upshot of the skill oriented course.
Knowledge about hygiene nutrition and food cost control is also imparted
to the students through extensive classroom coaching. Participation in
various food festivals, exhibitions and functions provides a wide exposure
to the students. Demonstration and practical are carried out in the Basic
Training Kitchen and The Quantity Food Kitchen with the help of new and advanced equipments. The Institute’s
training restaurant “ Nimantran” provides hands – on experience in
the evening where cooking has to be done under pressure of
orders from public thus making a student professionally fit to join the
hotel and restaurant industry.
