LIBRARY
A place in which literary, musical, artistic or reference material such as newspapers, magazines etc are available for use and not for sale. It plays a vital role in our life.
We have a huge collection of books which counts up to 2200, which includes different types of books representing different fields. Some of them are basic baking, Theory of Cookery, methods of research and analysis, Oxford Dictionary. We have a huge collection of magazines to imbibe the students with latest information, some of the magazines include India Today, Hospitality Biz, Time, Eye, FHRAI, Reader’s Digest and some of the International magazines include Cake Decoration, Good housekeeping etc.
The library provides 8 different newspapers to let the students be in contact with the happenings around the world. The library is fully computerized & also provides internet facility. The students can also have access to The British Library.
RESTAURANT-SWAGATAM
The Institute has its own Restaurant with 42 covers with pleasant ambience, with large bay windows overlooking the garden, is fully air conditioned with a proper lighting system and a well developed sound system. The restaurant has its own functional pantry and washing area. It also has an F&B store with required linen, cutlery and crockery. It consists of a Mock Bar; some of the alcoholic bottles are displayed for the general information for the students.
BAKERY & CONFECTIONARY
This area dispenses Bakery & Confectionary products like breads, patties, pastries, cakes, puddings, chocolate etc. We have 35 working tables and 5 large tables with the capacity of 100 students at a time. Various items are produced in the department during the various activities and functions in the institute.
