Best Award for Operational Performance
Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management bagged the “Best award for Operational Performance”. Mr. T.K. Razdan, Principal, CIHM received the glittering trophy at a scintillating award ceremony function held at IHM PUSA, New Delhi on the evening of 24th March 2011. The National award was presented by Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, Minister of Tourism, Govt. of India and present on the occasion were Shri. R.H. Khwaja IAS, Secretary, Shri Sanjay Kothari, IAS, Additional Secretary, Sh. Devesh Chaturvedi, IAS, ADG, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. This is the second consecutive year that CIHM has been awarded the Best Operational Performance award.

Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India & National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology have been recognizing excellence in Hospitality sector by awarding All India top position holders for their academic performance. This year Mr. Naveen and Mr. Paras Fakay of Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management were awarded National Council’s Gold Medal, certificate of excellence and cash award of Rs. 5000/- each for securing All India first Position in Front Office Operations and Bakery and Confectionery for the year 2009-10 |
